As a single mother and unabashed wanderlust, I moved from my hometown in the ‘burbs of Chicago to the warmer, sultry weather and I’m (somewhat!) settled on a charming lake in Florida. Despite the tumultuous nature of chasing the sun, one thing has remained the same—my voracious reading habit. I’ve always known that I would one day turn this passion for the Contemporary Romance genre into my own writing pursuit.
My love of diving deep into the romance reading rabbit hole to rid myself of the daily grind of life and stress keeps me balanced. When not reading or writing, I spend my time working in education and my free time chatting with my daughter, Emily. area. I’m also an animal enthusiast, with large portions of my days spent with my (extra giant) Great Pyrenees Winston telling him what a good boy he is while he sleeps under my desk snoring his life away. I’m single by choice these days, now, that’s not to say that I’m not open to romance in the future, but for now, the sparks mostly fly from the end of my pen.
On any given day, you’ll find me sitting outside with my face pointed at the sun, enjoying a raucous southeast rainstorm, reading or writing romance, engaging in some sort of adventure, or simply drinking wine while I ponder this thing called life (electric word, life, it means forever and that’s a mighty long time - thank you, Prince).
