Welcome to Lake Harmony!
Lake Harmony, Illinois is a community that was created from many different locations from my childhood to the present. It is located about 50 miles west of Chicago and has a beautiful lake for boating, swimming, and fishing. There are two main neighborhoods around the lake: the North side where you find Harmony Estates and the East side with Harmony Shores. Downtown Lake Harmony and the town square are located on the east side of the lake and has cute little shops, professional offices, Harmony Medical Practice, Ellen’s- Harmonious Bites, Hillary’s- Matter of Taste, Bella Roma’s Italian Bistro, Stella's- Mint & Sage, Genie's- Lake Harmony Treasures, and of course Gertie and Peter’s 1-Stop General Store where you want to be careful not to spill your secrets or they'll end up in the Town's Facebook Page! Cooper’s Corner the local favorite Grill & Bar and the Freeze Hut are both located on the South side of the lake.
